Join us for a chainless downhill and flow your way to victory at Hayterdale!

Date and details to be announced in 2022!

Entry is FREE for FatTracks members

How it works:

  • You’ll line up and officials will secure your derailleur in granny gear at the starting line
  • Riders will start down the trail one at a time to keep it chilled and allow everyone the opportunity to enjoy the twists and turns at their own pace
  • The run is approximately 800 metres of grins and hoots
  • If you want a second, third, fourth…….or plenty runs, head back up the gradual jeep track and reload!
  • The less you brake, the better you flow, and the more likely you are keep the wheels spinning
  • Strava will decide who takes the honours so you’ve got to be registered

Hayterdale is approximately 55 minutes from Port Elizabeth and its trails will reward! The run is not excessively technical or steep in its descent but is without doubt one of the most scenic single tracks that can be found in the Eastern Cape.

Age restriction: Under 18’s will require a parent or guardian adult to sign the Hayterdale indemnity. All ages are welcome to ride, although being a registered Strava user will be required, just like our CAM Series.

Arrive the day before and enjoy glamping with a spit braai!

FatTracks has arranged luxury tents for the Saturday evening (19 Oct) for those who wish to spend the night and make full use of all the other trails that Hayterdale has to offer.

The tents sleep two and are equipped with beds, linen and towels. These are available at R600 per tent.

For those who are camping, a catered spit braai will also be on offer at R150 per head.

Booking is essential as we need enough guests to secure the caterers.

This is set to be a really fun challenge and offers a great opportunity to ride something new.
